Class IV in the Adirondacks

Did this trip twice last year, once so far this year and can't wait to go back.
This picture (above) probably does say a thousand words.
But let me add a few more.
It is absolutely thrilling as it looks.
But it is also far safer than it looks.
Many folks might be thinking "I'm not that good of a swimmer".
Well, your fearless (or is that "brainless") leader can't swim at all.
So, not to worry.It is truly not a factor. The cost of the rafting is $82.This includes lunch and dinner that day. For lodging, we will rent a great house on Lake George that has all the amenities -- a deck with 2 gas grills for BBQ, full kitchen (being able to have breakfast without traveling is always nice) and free use of canoes, kayaks and rowboats (a lot of fun on Sunday before we head back to the city). Cost for lodging, is $120 per person for the 2 nights.
Only other significant cost of course is transportation.
It's about 200 miles from NYC.So, cost of gas will be more than a few bucks.But if we car pool, it should keep it reasonable.
