I am a young french professional in my early 30's looking for a sublet in Manhattan for Sept 8th or 9th up to the 28th (possibly a week longer or so). A furnished studio or a room with a private bathroom would be perfect. Nothing luxurious but must be of a decent size, neat and in a nice neighborhood. Ideally it would be in a prewar building with elevator and laundry in the basement. walk-ups ok if less than 3 fights up. Need to have broadband internet access. Will consider different locations: Gramercy/Soho/Village/UES/Chelsea/UWS. Not Midtown.
