I am lookingfor the best place in Manhattan for NOVEMBER 2008 THROUGH THE END OF THE YEAR.Although I rather do just one long-term swap for my entire stay I would consider all offers from anywhere (one month minimum).
I have a gorgeous apartment in Barcelona. I have swapped with New Yorkers before many times (14 swaps so far) and worked always very well. I have excellent references.
My large apartment is in the Sagrada Familia area of Ensanche Derecho neighborhood, close to Auditorium and Teatre Nacional de Catalunya. The apartment is in the heart of the city, very bright with lots of sunlight. Walking distance from El Borne, Ciutat Vella and Pueblo Nuevo neighborhoods. Beaches, plenty of shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters, antique stores and curiosities nearby. Elevator building, very quiet and lovely and helpful neighbors. Conveniently located close to Encantes Flea Market, Clot Farmer's Market and to several subway lines, bus and train stations.
The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (both with bathtub), a large living-room with comfortable dining area, a bright small terrace and a very large kitchen. It is fully furnished with TV, CD and DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, heating and high-speed Internet connection.
I am looking for a clean and nice place to stay and someone that would treat my space with the same respect that I would do with yours. I am a very neat and considerate person.
