I'm Marie, a french 23 years old girl, and a young architect. I'm coming to New York City for around 3 months, from September to December 2008 (depending on your suggestions), to make a professional experience in an architecture practice and maybe find some work for later.
I have a great offer for you !! As I'm looking for a place to live in New York (anywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn), I wish to exchange my lovely apartment in Marseille situed in Provence, south of France. I'd rather like amonths long exchange, but if you agree to come for less, it could be a good opportunity for me. These days, I found some swaps offers until the 4th of november, but I would love to exchange with you after that date,in november and begining of december.
Marseille is a very nice city, authentic, typical of the south of France.This is a very charming , warm and sunny city next to the sea. Everybody already heard about the "Calanques" which is precious french marvel very protected. Marseille and its surrounding has a beautiful landscape, with fisherman's little harbours, endless vineyards.... Marseille is also well situated to go visit the "Côte d'Azur" ( St Tropez, Cannes, and Nice which are only a few hours from Marseille) , or cities as Aix en Provence,or Avignon which are a few minutes from Marseille. My apartment is located in a very new private residence witha private park, in a quiet neighbourhood. It has 1 bedroom, a big living room, a very nice kitchen with a bar, and a very large balcony.It is very lightly, modern style furnished. Public transports are just accross the street.
I've already made several swaps last year and I really loved it.
