Delightful travel trailer, seldom used, and fully furnished and equipped for your TTURN-KEY comfort and convenience. It's a Jayco Eagle, 1999.Everything works well, and everything's clean. In a $35 (+/-) valuation talk I had with the manufacturer before I bought the unit last year, I was told that, based on features and condition, it is worth $7,100.
It has a good air condition and heater, and is equipped with a working smoke detector and propane gas alarm, as well as driving and stabalizing features. There are 3 skylights that open, and a built-in radio/cassette player with factory installed speakers in 2 areas.
The bedroom, with sliding door, has a queen size bed and two clothes hanging closets, plus drawers and cupboards, and 3 windows.Under the bed there is a vast storage area which is accessed by raising the bed platform. The eating area and the sofa also become beds, and there are two bunk beds, each 6' long.
The kitchen has a Panasonic microwave oven, a Wedgewood oven, 3-burner stove, a double sink, and a built-in panelled refrigerator/freezer with 3 modes of power.
The little house is lovingly decorated and includes all of the following, ready to use: Curtains, valances, shades/ dishes, glasses, bowls, cups/silverware/ kitchen tools/ toaster/ elec. coffee bean grinder/ elec. veg. chopper/ iron/ linens (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom)/ lamps/ small chair/ bedside table/ 3-tier shelf unit/ shower chair/ toilet riser/ 2 round outside tables/ 4 outside chairs/ vases/ candles and candleholders/ incense/ windchimes/ and a flower and butterfly "welcome" flag ! ! !
It's in a lovely campground in Greenport, L.I., about 3/4 of a mile to the Village or to either Peconic Bay or Long Island Sound beaches. . . an easy bike ride, and pets are welcome.
Rent for a space next year is $460 a month, and that includes all utilities except propane gas for heating and hot water. (a switch in the kitchen turns the hot water heater on and off as needed -- economical). There is storage in the back lot for campers from Nov. thru April when the park is closed for $50 a month, and also for boats. . . or you can move it anywhere you like.
The campground is located in a parklike and woodsy setting, with a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, including a washer and dryer for the use of the campers for $5 a load, wash and dry, and a place to recycle bottles and newspapers, etc. The husband-and-wife management team is friendly and helpful -- they want to keep us "happy campers".
I'm selling this sweet little house because I'm going to follow another adventure road in California where I live.
Come by for a cup of tea and a tour. . .
